Our sustainability program

For the sake of the environment:

  • we use energy-saving lighting, as well as timers and motion detectors
  • we also obtain electricity from renewable sources, such as wind power
  • we are planning another project of power generation by feeding district heating into the grid
  • we do without minibars in the rooms
  • we do not use "reception lighting and switched on televisions
  • we reduce water consumption and ask our guests for help in saving water
  • we actually change towels only when needed
  • we plan the construction of a well in order to be able to use ground water
  • we pay attention to a consequent waste separation and suppliers are obliged to take back their packaging materials
  • we ask our event customers to support us in avoiding waste.


In the sense of the economy:

  • we promote regional added value by
  • the inclusion of local suppliers and craftsmen
  • by cooperation with partners like the Limes Therme
  • generating the visitor's tax for the spa administration
  • close cooperation with local tourism associationsimproving customer loyalty by using internal and external (online) evaluation tools
  • Continuous expansion of the hotel's eMarketing for bookings, evaluations, information and to form opinions
  • Regular staff training to meet high quality standards


In terms of health:

  • Focus on wellness offerings (wellness packages and the internal promotion of wellness treatments).
  • Special health packages by using the regional conditions (sulfur and moor)
  • Cooperation with the Limes Therme
  • Qualified employees in the SPA area


In the sense of the employees:

  • The sustainability team consists of the hotel manager, the managers of the F&B, kitchen, housekeeping, technical and sales & marketing departments. This team consults in regular meetings about the desired goals and the implementation of measures regarding the optimization and improvement of sustainable management.
  • Employees are encouraged to forward ideas and suggestions to this team
  • Employees are involved in environmental actions, such as the recycling of cell phones
  • The majority of employees come from the immediate vicinity and are therefore rooted in the local natural environment
  • Bicycle parking spaces are available for employees in the company's own garage
  • Employment of foreign citizens in order to promote social and cultural diversity (there is a cooperation with the hotel management school "Centro die Formazione Professionale per Operatore alla Ristorazione" from Lonigo - Italy)
  • The formation of carpools is encouraged


In the interest of the guests:

  • Rental of E-Scooters
  • Offer of a shuttle (by cab) to and from the train station
  • Do we inform you through different materials (homepage, guests A-Z, ...) about our sustainability thought and ask them for support
  • Do we offer barrier-free access to the hotel and the convention center, as well as wheelchair-accessible rooms
